Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day to all the couples in the world! If you're single, don't get too caught up in the day. Here's a guide to help you through the day if you need some ideas.

I surprised the wife last night instead of waiting until today. She worked all day, so I was home alone to get stuff ready. I told her I was going to Walmart to get windshield washer fluid, and I bought some ribeyes and roses, too. I grilled out and had everything ready when she got home. It was a good dinner, and everything worked out just great. We agreed not to do anything big, because we plan on doing something awesome on our ski trip later this week. We're going to go on a sleigh ride to a nice restaurant. We'll ride in a horse-drawn Santa sleigh to the restaurant where we'll have a steak dinner and be entertained with some short plays. It sounds very cool.

Of course I can't go all day without doing something for her. I've printed off lyrics (because I never remember the words when I'm nervous) to some of my favorite love songs, and I may get my guitar out tonight and woo her with my singing. I may chicken out though. We'll see.

Again, happy Valentine's Day to everybody. Tell the ones that you care for just how much you love them.

PS. iPod update: I have 7 referrals now, and I'm just waiting for 5 of them to turn green. I can't wait to get this thing.
