Heartbeat!

The wife's first doctor visit was last Friday morning. We heard the hearbeat! I was surprised at how fast, and how strong it was beating. The doc said it was beating 150-160 beats per minute. I just sat there in amazement as we listened. It was a defining moment, as we listened. For the first time, I realized that there actually was a baby growing inside my wife. I believed that there was a baby this whole time. But this was the first physical proof that we had seen so far. It really was amazing.

I still have no new job. I have a couple of new leads, but nothing promising yet. I'm really starting to worry. And the worry and stress is beginning to take its toll.

DId your e-mail to former Econ majors lead to anything? Any more communication with RS from CHC?

I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for you.

Thanks Jeff. I've had more communication with RS. Just before lunch, I got an email from someone in HR at CHC and she wanted a resume and she said "I would like to talk with you further about any potential openings," so this is some great news. I'm hopeful that something will come my way through this.

But the real questions is, it was only ONE heartbeart, right?

Yes, it was only one. But he found it very quickly. Almost instantly. So maybe there were two in there and his chances of finding one was higher? They won't know about twins until 20 weeks or so.

That's good to hear... I've heard good things about working for CHC. I have a lot of direct contact with CHC because of my position with the bank. Have you been to their website to see if they have anything in your area?

"Your Wife" is too little to have a baby. She was MY baby. The first one I remember and thought..."well this is kind of cool". Tell her it's all a mishap. She's been eating too many cheeseburgers in the hospital cafeteria. And you? A father? You were the little kid who stood in the front yard with a golf club every day when I delivered your newspaper. Oh my goodness....You are going to be parents! Prayers for you since the day I heard. You will be amazing.
