Spyware is the devil

I'm blogging all over the place today!

I just went through another round of spyware on my home computer. The people that create this stuff need to be locked up for a really long time. I've gone through 3 or 4 really bad bouts of it at home, and one more even worse round here at work. I've also cleaned off my coworkers' computers, and a couple of friends' and neighbors'. So I've gotten to be pretty good at getting the stuff off.

The latest round at home dealt with popup ads, and the popup window said "Aurora" each time. I had to do several scans, and boot into safe mode to delete specific files. But I am all clean now.

If anybody needs help with spyware and adware, let me know and I'll be happy to assist. I wonder if there would be demand for some free-lance spyware removal services? Anybody have ideas?

I use Microsoft's spyware program, adaware, and spy bot to combat it. I run all those at least weekly.

Luckly I've been clean for the most part, but I take no chances.

I use Adaware, Spybot, Micorsoft Antispyware, CW Shredder and another program and I still can't get all those nasty spyware programs off my computer.

I use AdAware, Spybot, SpywareBlaster, and HiJackThis.
I'm still clean from these Aurora popups. I guess I got it all, as it's been several days now.
