More Firefox Stuff
Sorry for the lack of posts this week. Blogger hasn't been working for me at work this week. It works fine at home, but not at work. Hmmm... I hope they haven't blocked our access to blogspot.com sites. I can get into my dashboard and post, but I can't view my blog. Anybody else having this problem?
While trying to make my Firefox browser faster, I've found two more goodies. I use gmail as my primary email account now, and I've always hated that there is no Delete button for the junk mail I get in my inbox. Anthony Lieuallen at Arantius.com has written a Firefox extension that will add a Delete button next to the Archive button. It's fantastic and makes deleting email so much easier. Get the full extension here.
Everytime I open up Firefox, whether it be at home, or at work, I always open up 3 or 4 tabs and open the same sites on each tab. My.Yahoo.com news page, gmail, my blog, and sometimes a message board or current weather conditions. With this trick, Firefox will open all of these sites in seperate tabs.
Go to Tools>Options>General and add all of your sites to the homepage section. In between each address, put a | character. It's right above Enter key on the keyboard. If you type
http://my.yahoo.com|mail.google.com|whenjasonisbored.blogspot.cominto the homepage section, all three sites will come up in seperate tabs.
I also hope to do another Radio.Blog update soon. I'm getting more ideas on what I want to add. Any suggestions or requests? Anybody have new music to recommend?
Edit: After two days of NOT working, Blogger is finally working. woohoo!

Is it working at our place of employment today?
It's working!
Even though i am senior tech support for the company i work for, we are not allowed to install Firefox, but i use it at home and have converted all my mates to it too.
I have had to put up with installing the MSN toolbar for IE which gives me Tabbed Browsing - but it is soooo slow!
Arrgh! (bashes head on desk)
Hey, I'm not sure if you'll see my comment down here, but I was wondering how you are able to get all of those widgets/applications in you sidebars like the RadioBlog, etc. I assume you need to add in code to the template, but I have no idea where to start. If you have any suggestions of where to get help, I'd appreciate it :) Thanks.
I have heard of Firefox having a few problems getting through corporate firewalls.
Can you view all your blog on IE?
