Bowling Green, here we come
I called yesterday and officially accepted the position! I don't know my start date yet, but it will be sometime in mid-October. They said I could finish out my job here at the Census. They also said I could wait until after the baby was born, but that won't be possible. As much as I hate this, I will be moving down to Bowling Green without my wife. We don't want to switch doctors so close to the due date, so she'll be staying here until the baby is born.
I thought that once I found a job that the stress and pressure would be relieved. But it hasn't at all. It's gotten worse! House hunting has suddenly become very important. I am very lucky, in that I have a relative in the mortgage business. He has been very helpful.
The reason that I have to start before the baby is born, is so that we can be approved for a mortgage. We're house hunting again on Thursday and Friday. Hopefully we'll be able to find one we like. If so, we'll try to close everything so that I can start painting and preparing the house in the weeks before the baby is born. That way I won't be bored out of my mind and it'll give me something to do instead of worry about my pregnant wife. Plus this will give us the chance to bring him straight to our new house after he is born.

Hey, congratulations. Even though the stress levels are still percolating pretty high, just think of the alternative.
